662 Bodyboards was launched in 2003 out of a small garage by Eddie Solomon, a Southern California bodyboarder known for his aggressive, big wave riding at legendary spots like Waimea Shorebreak and The Wedge. When he wasn’t hosting video premiers or charging with his massive crew of sponsored riders, he was developing boards and equipment to aid in the progression of the sport. Sadly, we lost Eddie far too early but the positive impact he left on the sport will never be forgotten.
